About Darcy Aldous
Darcy Aldous is the President of the firm and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in New York State and Ohio. She has over 15 years of experience with regional certified public accounting firms in New York and Ohio. Darcy started the firm with the vision to provide exceptional client service to the firm’s clients and businesses. Part of this is providing timely feedback and resources to clients and businesses which enables them to make important decisions allowing their businesses to grow and prosper.
Over the years Darcy has worked with individuals of various net worth and businesses within a diverse range of industries. This experience has given her the knowledge and resources to help guide businesses and their owners. She also has experience working with nonprofits and private foundations in various capacities. In helping nonprofits not only is the firm helping the organization but making an impact in the community which aligns with the firm’s core values.
Darcy attends numerous trainings each year to stay abreast of the ever-changing accounting and tax worlds. She is also active in her community and within the accounting profession. She is a member of the Otsego and Tompkins Chamber of Commerce. She is the President of the Southern Tier Chapter of the New York State Society of CPAs and is a board member of the Tompkins and Cortland Counties Habitat for Humanity. Darcy is the current treasurer of the Summit Chapter of BNI. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA). She is a member of the Scholarship Committee at the NYSSCPA and is a member of the nonprofit section of the AICPA.
